In the cafeteria….

I’m pissed off….No, I’m serious….I really don’t care about broken doors in our shower but….3 days without the internet and broken cooking-plates (Yeah! And Like Honza said, we are out of Fernet (OH MY GOSH!)) as well is too much. Like they said in Kexgill, they have (apparently) rush time and it’s pretty hard to manage all the staff but I really don’t care! I pay on time either Honza and Kaja, but obviously they don’t even care about staff which we pay for. New microwave oven we get on Friday, but we had to take it from their office on our own. Things goes crazy here….Alright, let’s turn the page….Uni is quite good. Staff from uni is thankful that we are here and so on(blablablabla;)….I have to admit that I’m more and more excited and I can’t wait till Monday when starts my courses (they looks pretty interesting). Uni building (of business school) is very cosy and reconstructed few years ago. People are nice(which I appreciated when they couldn’t find my application form or any of details about my person) and very very helpful…..On Thursday is registration of new students, then hopefully only studying and studying! Next page….My job….Ehm, my job really sucks. My job-mates are little bit simple which cause sometimes very strange situations and sometimes I fell like I’m their slave. It’s only 2 half an hour but still, I’m not happy with that. Tomorrow I’m gonna have a appointment with people from career department of our uni and they gonna try to help me find more interesting job. Next page:) Friends….I met sooooo many (great) people last few days, especially on ISA party on Friday night. Lot of funny stories happened there, girls has been very very funny there. Actually, next morning wasn’t so good when I woke up to work;) Anyway, I’m here with other guys from uni about one week and we have very nice time here and hopefully in future as well….Alright, that’s all at this moment, my battery is down and we have to go home….I don’t have even time to check my mistakes in this essay;) so in advance, I’m sorry guys about that;)

First weekend together in our apartment

Finally! I’m not alone anymore!:) I mean in our apartment;) We started our one-year-session together in very nice and crazy style. First night drinking and talking until 2 o’clock next day until 3 o’clock….We met some new faces (at least for me) in our apartment and spend Saturday’s afternoon in park with sun and accidentally met group of Czech guys. We heard many funny stories and even if we promised that we’re not gonna drink alcohol anymore after Friday night, we did;) Like would said my Greek friend: Just-one-beer:) Then we had “family-night” with Czech movies and food hehee…Well today first day in my job. Nothing special, just cleaning Student Union building. Nice people, nice supervisor, nice salary:) And now stop talking and I’m going to visit other guys in International office. See ya!

Today has been fine…

Despite the rain, which is whole day, today has been OK….At first, I got a job! Hopefully;) Nooo, I mean on Monday I’m going to have a meeting with Jane(my supervisor), get some stuff (t-shirt, very nice “working-class-hero” vest:) and of course some forms. Then I’m gonna be able to have my NIN and bank account which is necessary to pay my rent (which apparently really sucks). Well, some plans on weekend? Me? Stay at home, save some money and maybe clean house because on Wednesday is coming Honza and then day later Karolina (I’m not going to be alone anymore!!:))And now, my shot of emotion with favorite TV-shows!:)Weeds, The Simpsons and of course Arrested Development!:))Bless bless!

The Big Bang Machina

Sitting here in a sofa and absolutely concerned about today’s event….CERN…It was yesterday when I was watching on BBC an absolutely unbelievable (BTW. did in very funny and interesting way …) documentary about “Big Bang Machine” which was incredible to see how complicated and, in same way, expensive this thing can be. They described how the whole complex is working and showed similar complex in US which unfortunately hasn’t after few years any results. And today everything just happened in EU…Obviously, this is just a beginning so we can’t expect any results(or black holes:)) but still, isn’t it cool?

Switched…..

Well….After asking myself if I really want to have write down my stories from UK I decided to do it. During the weekend in London with my lovely icelandic friends sometimes I wasn’t able to even remember some stories which happened to us few months ago….This blog is supposed to remind me (and of course to YOU:) how funny stories (or even worse one) I had during my stay in UK….
